Caption:Trough-like mould of green bamboo (split longitudinally) closed near the end with clay stops, and fixed in position on a stone slab with lumps of clay. Molten brass is poured into the mould from crucible.

Caption:3. Brass rod with semi-circular section, cast in the mould, ready for bending to form armlet.
