text: Unlike Cheswejumi, the village builds special houses for its young men and I was shown a hall which was used by a group of thirty of them. Great sleeping platforms ran round two of the sides and bedding was strewn in heaps along them. Apart from a puppet man which dangled from the roof, the only other object were some hanks of cotton hanging from the rafters. I was told there are no formal officials and no code of duties.
