text: Angami - head taking practices.
text: In Kohima when some ears and fingers were brought back from the Abor expedition, they were buried near the Kipuhe stone - (skulls taken in war were also buried by the stone).
text: No one could sit on the stone (whether man or woman). (Krusihu) Connection of the stone with gate - Hutton notes that this is always near the gate (48). But not always - in the Tsotonoma Khel of Kohima, it is inside the Khel wall, and high up in the Khel fort.
