text: The Angs of Longkhai come from Mon as the original Ang family died out (219) but as neither Mauwang nor any of his brothers have any sons alive now it is likely that this line will die out too. Then another Ang will come from Mon. It is curious that the Ang families of all the villages in the controlled area have died out sooner or later, many of them long before the region came under Government control, while Mon and Chi on the other side seem to have an endless supply of blue-blooded Angs which they pass on to other villages.
