text: In the middle of the open space in front stands a group of slender menhirs close together. The tallest was erected only recently when some boys from Hungphoi, according to their version, carried a Chen head which had been captured by men of Sheangha to Mon, but probably they had captured the head themselves, or had at least participated in the excursion. Mills made them pay a penalty of two mithans and for that reason they are slightly reserved about matters of head hunting.
