text: When a village is founded the men of the mother village first help the colonists to cut down the jungle, then the sites are chosen for the morung and the houses. The morung is first built, then the individual houses. If possible, the Ang's house is built on the same house as the morung (sic). When the Ang house is built a stone is erected in front of it and a chicken is killed: [konyak] (168) This is done by the founder "the owner of the village".
text: The new village needs:
an Ang
a Thepwangba
an Ouwokba
one Niengba
a Benba for the Ang
text: All these officials will be found at Wakching, except the Ouwokba.
