text: Other Zemi clans:
Hezatme & Sogame - in Hokai, near Haflong.
text: Kadepeo - original landowners, who own land privately. In Laisong there are two Kadepeo:
1. Kamchanglang (Indrame)
2. Sujerongba (Indrame)
text: They had their land since the time of the Kachari kings - the land was alloted by the Kachari kings. The land then alloted is scattered - it can be sold.
text: The Nkome clan has some clan jhum land. Indrame and Henume have clan jhum land too (doubtful!). The land owned by Kamchanglang comprises most of the village site and the hill above. The householders do not pay rent to the Kadepeo but anyone cultivating his jhum land pays him a rent of one basket of paddy.
