The fourth man had a slight flesh wound in the buttock, which was treated with native medicines and healed. 1 man died in one of the camp huts at Asalu, when returning from punishment labour in Haflong.
text: The daroga got Rs 100 from Shongkai, on the threat of burning their dhan, and tried to get Rs 100 as a price of mercy from the Haungrum chowkidar when he was under arrest, but he hadn't got it. D subsequently reduced his terms to Rs 50 but chowkidar hadn't got that either, though he says he wished he had. D also got away with 2 necklaces from Nenglo, and is said to have got a sum of money about 70/- from Laisong.
